Sizing
Bigger is not safer.
An oversized system cools quickly, shuts off, and leaves the room cool but humid — which in Brisbane is the wrong result. An undersized one runs flat out and never quite arrives.
Glazing, aspect, ceiling height, insulation and how open the space is all change the answer for rooms of identical floor area.

One trade, not two
The circuit is part of the job.
A split system usually wants its own circuit, and on older boards that means switchboard work before anything goes on the wall. Being electricians as well as installers means both halves are ours.
No gap between trades, no second callout, and one fixed price for the whole thing.
