While we are on site for work you have already booked, we run a practical once-over of your switchboard, lighting and smoke alarms. You decide what happens from there.
A practical review of the board to spot obvious concerns, older fuse protection, or where modern RCBO protection would be a sensible upgrade.
A once-over of lighting and fittings to identify poor performers, failed fittings and reasonable upgrade opportunities.
A visual compliance-oriented look for obviously missing alarms, or alarms that do not appear to be where they should be.
A practical visual once-over, not a comprehensive electrical audit and not a full smoke alarm integrity test. It depends on reasonable access to the areas involved.
Queensland law
Every Queensland home needs interconnected alarms by 1 January 2027.
The law requires photoelectric, interconnected smoke alarms in every existing home, townhouse and unit. When one sounds, they all sound. We install, test and certify.

From the first contact with Jaz on hipages I knew that I’d found someone decent. I needed nbn cable re-routed and cables and points tidied up for Foxtel connections. The whole job was finished perfectly in a short timeframe with complete attention to detail. A very happy customer and would highly recommend his business.

He was like an everready battery. He didn’t stop until the job was completed. Could not be happier with his workmanship or his openness with explaining everything to us. Also he quoted $30,000 cheaper than a previous quote we had. Very impressed. He is now our family’s “go to” electrician for all our electrical issues. 5 stars. Jenny

He took away the old stuff and always friendly. I have no hesitation in giving the best recommendation possible and will certainly call him again for any eletrical issues.

Called up Jaz today as had a dodgy ‘electrician’ do some work for us over the weekend that I wasn’t sold on. Jaz straight away removed the shoddy and dangerous electrical work, took photos of it all so I could claim my money back, and explained how everything should have been (and also what could have happened with the danger of the original job). Couldn’t be more grateful. Will have him in to fix up the original job because I know it’ll be done properly! Well worth your call if you’re looking for a knowledgeable electrician at a decent price. Thank you!

We install and replace cooktops and ovens and run the circuits they need. Where a job needs a licensed gas fitter we coordinate that as part of the work.
