The unglamorous part
Most smart switches need a neutral.
Plenty of older Australian homes have switch wiring that never ran a neutral to the switch, because a mechanical switch does not need one. Most smart switches do.
That single detail decides whether your upgrade is a swap or a cable run, and it is why we look at a switch before promising anything.

Plan the wiring first
Cheap now, expensive later.
Anything that needs a cable — sensors, powered blinds, cameras, a hard-wired hub, lighting zones — is far cheaper to run while walls or ceilings are open than to retrofit afterwards.
If a renovation is happening, this is the conversation to have before the plasterer, not after.

Clipsal Wiser and the Trader Smart series are the ones we regularly install and know best. If you have already bought something else, tell us when we quote and we will wire for it.

We do the electrical work and make sure devices are powered, wired and working. Configuring scenes and routines is generally yours to enjoy.
Yes, and that is by far the cheapest time. Anything needing a cable is much harder to retrofit.
If the dimming is matched to the drivers, yes. Mismatched dimmers are the usual cause of flicker and buzz.
