Before you buy
Induction usually needs its own circuit.
Induction cooktops draw considerably more than the ceramic unit they replace, and plenty of kitchens are not wired for it. That is worth knowing before the appliance is delivered, not after.

Replacements
Swapping like for like is usually a straight job.
A replacement into an existing cut-out with an existing circuit is normally quick and clean. Where the new unit is a different size, the benchtop needs modifying and that changes the job.

We install and replace cooktops and ovens and run the circuits they need. Where a job requires a licensed gas fitter we coordinate that as part of the work rather than leaving you to arrange it.
Often, yes. Induction draws more than the ceramic unit it usually replaces, and many kitchens are not wired for it. Worth checking before the appliance arrives.

Where a new unit is a different size to the old one, the cut-out needs changing. We will tell you if that is the case when we quote.
