Every Queensland home needs interconnected alarms by 1 January 2027.
Queensland law requires photoelectric, interconnected smoke alarms in every existing home, townhouse and unit.
Interconnected means that when one alarm detects smoke, every alarm in the house sounds. You hear it from the far end of the house, not just from outside the room it started in.

We fit premium 10-year lithium sealed alarms as standard. Sealed for a decade means no annual battery change and no low-battery chirp at three in the morning.
Where a home calls for 240V hardwired alarms, we install those instead. We will tell you which is right for your place when we quote.
