Sensor floodlights on the approach, something soft over the entertaining area, and enough on the side path that nobody guesses where the step is.
Getting the aim and the spread right is most of the job. Done badly it lights the neighbour's bedroom instead of your driveway.

Doing the whole house at once beats one room at a time.
A single room swapped to LED leaves you with two different colour temperatures either side of a doorway, which is more obvious than people expect.
Doing the lot in one visit means one consistent colour through the house, one fixed price, and one tidy-up.

Yes. Dimming needs the fitting and the dimmer to be matched properly, which is worth getting right rather than guessing.
We quote a fixed price before the work starts. Most lighting quoting happens on site so we can see the ceiling space and the existing wiring.
