Why boards get upgraded
Built for a house with far less plugged into it.
Older boards were specified for a home with a fridge, a stove and a few lights. Add an air conditioner in three rooms, an induction cooktop and a car charger and the board becomes the part that has to change first.
The symptoms are ordinary: circuits that trip when two appliances run, lights that dim when the aircon starts, or simply no spare way left for the job you actually called about.

What you end up with
Protection per circuit, not one switch for the house.
We fit RCBOs, which combine overload protection and personal protection in one device dedicated to a single circuit. A fault drops that circuit rather than blacking out the house, and finding the cause stops being a process of elimination in the dark.
Circuits get labelled properly, the work is tested and certified, and you get the paperwork.
